Naanster wraps are a great way to enjoy a nice treat on the go, I will admit I was a little dubious to start off with as I was a little unsure if they would taste nice, I was also unsure if the 90 seconds microwave time would be enough. I was very surprised as it did turn out to be enough and they tasted amazing. We had come in from a busy day, put one of these in the microwave and by the time I had made a nice cup of tea it was ready, how great is that!
We was sent four different Naanster wraps to try:
Beef Madras: this is a light fluffy naan bread filled with british beef in madras sauce, pilau rice and mango chutney.
Chicken tikka: this is a light fluffy naan bread filled with succulent chicken in a tikka sauce, pilau rice and mango chutney.
Vegetable tikka: this is a light fluffy naan bread filled with delicious vegetables in a tikka sauce, pilau rice and mango chutney.
Balti chicken: this is a fluffy naan bread filled with succulent chicken in a Balti sauce, pilau rice and mango chutney.
How to heat:
From chilled you pierce the plastic packaging to allow the steam to escape. Place the naan into the microwave, cook for 1 minute 30 seconds, allow to cool for 1 minute before picking it up. Remove the plastic packaging, use the carton to hold the naan and then enjoy.
These wraps really surprised us, we did not think the heat time would be long enough but it was, making the wraps a perfect handheld on the go snack. We thought the wraps might be soggy, but they wasn’t, making them easy to enjoy without mess. We also thought the bread may be dry or hard but the bread was nice soft and very enjoyable. The flavourings were perfect not to sweet and was very mild in the spices.
About the wraps:
