Cinderella and the beanstalk
Cinderella and the beanstalk is a show with a bit of a difference compared to other shows we have been to. Cinderella and the beanstalk is a three-man family pantomime.
This pantomime was very cleverly done, with only three of them there recreating the characters as well as singing and dancing their way through ninety minutes of the pantomime, it really is amazing to see. Cinderella and the beanstalk is directed by award-winning Tom Attenborough.
We really enjoyed the show and watching poor old Cinderella being blackmailed into retrieving the coveted golden eggs from the top of the beanstalk. Cinderella must get the egg’s in order to recover her glass slipper. Cinderella was doing her best to complete her task, but it was not that simple, the fairy godmother, prince charming and Jack’s pregnant cow was all doing their best to get in the way making the task for poor old Cinderella even harder.
With there just being three cast members it was very cleverly performed and amazing to watch. The talented trio created a show that was very enjoyable for the adults as well as the children.
Cinderella and the beanstalk is definitely a panto with a twist, Josh, John and James are an award-winning comedy trio that will have the adults cheering along just as loud as the children…Well they did with us anyway!
We really enjoyed watching this talented trio, it made a lovely family afternoon out having a sing along with lots of laughter, whats not to enjoy. We watched Cinderella and the beanstalk at theatre503 which is located in Battersea park road in London. Theatre503 has a variety of shows on throughout the year for all ages.
After watching Cinderella and the beanstalk the boy’s have asked to watch another show, is there any that you would recommend?
