With spring finally here our winter blankets and hot water bottles can soon start to be packed away. The sun is now starting to make a very welcomed appearance and we can now start enjoying the spring air and lovely sunshine.
With the sun shining brightly and all the winter warmers being packed away, we are now wanting to add colour, not only in the garden but indoors too. We are wanting to brighten up our spring and add sparkles of colour to our home to make it nice, bright and welcoming.
Interior Design
We are currently in discussion about our interior design at the moment as we are making plans to have a wall removed downstairs. This would help to add light to our living room as well as give us more kitchen space. Our kitchen at the moment hardly has any space and sadly isn’t designed to it’s full potential. We feel we could make much better use of the space to make it a much more useable kitchen. We do have our own design in mind and it is on our to-do list but other home projects have to take priority.
In the meantime we are adding splashes of colour in other ways to our home, by changing pictures that are hung on our walls to more brighter ones, adding bright spring flowers to a vase, changing our cushion covers and having a change around with items on display.
Splashes Of Colour This Spring
There are many other ways you can brighten your home and add splashes of colour to make it more cheerful looking and inviting. Adding a rug or two is another way.
