Spring evening stroll

Well what can I say its only Wednesday and it was a lovely evening so we thought why not go for a nice spring evening stroll, it has been a busy day at work and some fresh air can do wonders, we went armed with some bread for the ducks and we thought it would be a nice change, the kids have school exams coming up at the end of the month and we thought it would take their mind off  them even if it was just for a while, school exams can be a stressful time for any child.

It made a lovely change getting this quality time mid-week as the week days get very busy with late working days and kids home work, but their home work is all up to date and we got away from work early so we took advantage of this spare time and it was enjoyed by all, it was lovely, a nice ice cream was enjoyed by all as we walked off our dinner, the dog enjoyed an extra long last walk of the evening.

The speed kids grow up it is very important to grab every second you can with them because before we know it they will be leaving home, my mum and dad kept saying to me when I was pregnant about the speed kids grow and I just laughed it off but now my kids are here I understand that saying now, kids really do grow too fast, in fact I find it frightening to think they will soon not want to be spending their time with us as they will soon be too busy with their friends, so I am grabbing every opportunity I can and cherish every moment of it.
