Wow December already, where has this year gone. Are you someone who is organised, or are you someone who will be shopping last minute? I am normally one for being really organised and prepared for Christmas, but this year I seem to be really behind and struggling at what to get for people.

For the first time ever, our boys don’t know what they want for Christmas. They were asked last week what they would like for Christmas? And they gave the dreaded “I don’t know answer” – I could scream when given this answer, because if they don’t know how are we meant to?

One thing that is a must in our house and is most definitely agreed on and that is all the festive treats. From the very tasty festive coffees, to all the festive goodies that make an appearance within the stores. We might not have our gift list ready yet but our shopping delivery is booked. Here are a few items that will be being added to our trolley.

Ferrero Rochers

First up that is a must and that is Ferrero Rochers. OK I may eat these all year round but these are my must have chocolate when snuggled up watching a Christmas movie. There is just something about the wafer that is covered in chocolate and then pieces of hazelnut. The best part is when you bite into the middle where you have a hazelnut flavoured creamy filling covering a whole hazelnut at the very center. Yummy!

Toblerone

Just like Ferrero Rochers these are also available all year round but seem to be a go-to chocolate too and very popular at Christmas. Toblerones are triangular shaped Swiss chocolate with honey and almond nougat. They can be found in a variety of different flavours such as, white chocolate, regular milk chocolate, fruit and nut, also not forgetting it also comes in dark chocolate too. They make a perfect gift as you can also have them personalised.

Liqueur Chocolates

Chocolate liqueur treats are a perfect treat to share at a dinner party or simply enjoying a lovely evening with friends or family. One chocolate liqueur we are looking forward to this year is Baileys chocolate twists. They are light and crispy wafers filled with a Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur Ganache, wrapped in delicious smooth chocolate. Chocolate Liqueurs also make the perfect Christmas gift for any liqueur lover. If you still have the odd gift to get and they are a chocolate liqueur fan then Wow Free Stuff are currently hosting a giveaway where you have the chance to win a box of chocolates. Be quick with entering as you only have until: 21st December 2019. Click >>>Here<<< find out how to be entered into the competition.

Gingerbread

Let’s talk gingerbread. We enjoy all things gingerbread at Christmas in our house, and let’s face it, we all enjoy making a gingerbread house at Christmas don’t we. What better way to spend a family night in on a cold evening. A perfect way to keep warm when out doing the Christmas shopping is enjoy a nice yummy gingerbread latte. Christmas in a cup!

Stollen Loaf

Stollen loaf is one Christmas treat I really look forward to. It is packed full of soft and juicy sultanas and raisins. It has a soft centre of rich marzipan which offers a lovely almond flavour to the rum syrup and butter-soaked loaf. Perfect accompanied with a festive drink of choice.

They are our top Christmas must-have favourite treats. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without having candy canes, mince pies and a tin of roses in our trolley to of course!
