Going On A Field Trip

Going on a field trip

A field trip

On the 8th of July I’m going on a field trip with my school, I am 15 years old and currently doing my GCSE’s.

One GCSE I am working towards is geography, so in July I will be heading off to Kingswood. The purpose of the field trip is to help me gain as much information as I can to help me gain my grades needed. Kingswood offers a range of programmes which are specially designed to help us, all modules are tailored to our individual needs which is great.

This trip if all goes well will give me 25% of my final GCSE grade. Going on a field trip will give me access to specialist facilities needed such as expert tutors with a deeper understanding.

I have been to Kingswood before when I was in primary school, I really enjoyed it and had so much fun while I was there. I really enjoyed all of the outdoor activities and the team building sports. I love all sports and my aim for when I leave school is to work as a sports coach, my all time favorite sport is football.

I am so excited as next week I will be busy with work experience week, I will be enjoying being a youth instructor for a week, this will be great fun as it’s what I enjoy doing, I love sports so it will be a great week.

I am in for a busy few weeks but I am really looking forward to  the experience I will be gaining.

I will pop back and update you after my field trip and let you know how I got on.

3 stone loss

New me is now in sight

Yikes! guess what? I only went and weighed-in at my 3st loss. Yes there was tears, silly I know but this means so much to me. A new me is now in sight!

This now means I need to lose another 2st and then I will be at my target, I am so excited. My weight-loss journey so far has been fun with lost of ups and downs along the way. I don’t feel as if I am on a diet, with Slimming World we still get to have our treats (limited of course).

To be honest all I have done is make a few food changes (healthy swaps), watch my food intake (Doing a food diary) and exercise (Body magic)…..Oh yes and not consume the amount of alcohol I once used to have. Before attending Slimming World I could have quite easily had a good few glasses of wine once opened, now I can happily have just the one or two glasses.

Admittedly my weight-loss journey has not been a loss every week, I have been to weigh-in before and put on 3.5lb….Whoops! when this happens I just give myself a good talking to rather than let it get me down, this helps and makes me more determined to get that loss the following week. I just reminded myself why I joined Slimming World in the first place.

new me is now in sight

I am loving that the new me is now in sight, I have now started to notice body changes, I now fit in clothes two sizes smaller than I once used to wear, I am now feeling much healthier, I have more energy, I don’t get half as breathless as I once use to, confidence in myself is starting to come back, but the one thing that is making me smile most out of it all is having the energy to do things more with my boy’s.

I do hope to reach my target for my birthday in August but to be honest I am not fussed when it happens as long as it comes off that is all I wish for. I did set out to do it for my birthday as a birthday gift to myself, but being close to it will be good enough for me!

Me last June

New me is now in sight

Me today. A new me is now in sight.

A new me is now in sight

Here is to the next 2st!

One thing I will admit to not doing before I started my weight-loss journey was keep an eye on my weight and BMI. I never actually checked to see what my healthy weight should be. Is this something you keep an eye on? I keep a very close eye on mine now….Admitedly I am not happy with mine but it is something I am working on using this hight/weight chart from the NHS.

BritMums meme 2015

BritMums meme 2015

Not long to go now at all until myself and Ian attend BritMums live 2015. Yes that’s right we are going to BritMums, yikes. Our little blog is nearly 1yr old, it is a family blog and we really enjoy blogging about our fun and adventures. Here is our BritMums meme 2015.

Name – Anita and Ian

Blog –

Twitter – @THT_never_rests

Hair –  Anita – short & brown and  Ian – blond

Is this your first blogging conference?

Yes this will be our first time attending and we are rather nervous but also very excited. I think it’s the not knowing what to expect on the day.

Are you attending both days?

Yes we want to make the most of the event and get as much out of the sessions as possible.

What are you most looking forward to at BritMums live 2015?

We are looking forward to the whole experience and learning lots of new things, meeting lots of other bloggers and enjoying our time there. It will be nice to put faces to blogs.

What are you going to wear?

We have not decided yet, it will most likely be something simple and comfortable, from reading other people’s blog posts about they’re time at BritMums a lot had regretted wearing heels etc so I will definitely be taking their advice on that one and will not be wearing heels.

What do you hope to gain from BritMums live 2015?

We’d love to learn how to improve our blog, writing skills, learn more about SEO and learn about social media etc. We are really looking forward to the keynotes and sessions.

Do you have any tips to pass on to others who may not have been to BritMums before?

No this is our first year going but have taken loads of tips on board from other bloggers who have been before such as:

Wear flat shoes.

Check the agenda before hand to save rushing about.

Allow ourselves plenty of time to get where we need to be.

Enjoy our time whilst there and try not to worry about anything.

Take plenty of notes.

If you see us on the day we will probably be looking lost, as we most probably will be. Please stop to say hi, we’d love to meet you!

BritMums meme 2015

Are you going to BritMums? have you been before? any great tips or advice you can give us to ease our first time nerves?

See you all there and hope to meet you.

beauty., review.

Being a busy mum who is always on the go, looking after my skin is not on my to-do list at all, if I’m totally honest it doesn’t even make it anywhere near the top. When an e-mail popped into my inbox from MayBeauty asking if I’d like to try out their facemask I thought why not make some “me time” and treat myself to a little pamper session.

I did a little research into MayBeauty before replying and accepting their offer of the facemask and it turns out that they are very popular in Sweden. After reading up on the facemask I got rather excited and couldn’t wait to try the mask. I was lucky enough to be sent five masks to use so I organised a little pamper session/girls night in.

How the face mask works.

The facemask works by removing dead skin cells and particles that clog pores in your skin, preventing acne and blackheads.

How to apply.

1) Starting off by cleaning our face, using warm water.

2) Opening the mask and applying to our face, using the brush supplied. Avoiding our eye’s, mouth and lips.

3) Waiting for about 40-45 minutes for the mask to fully dry.

4) Remove the mask by moving our lips/cheeks to loosen the mask. The mask will then start to come off rather easily.

5) Washing our face with warm water.

The face mask was very easy to apply, I wont lie it doesn’t look like any other face mask I have used or even seen in the past, this one was completely black, thick and very smooth. Soon after the mask was applied we felt it going hard, once it came to removing the mask we then saw what the mask had done, I was amazed, I could physically see what had been removed from my face/skin (yuck) it was disgusting, I really do need to start making time for skin treatments.

MayBeauty have helped me to realise how much I do need to take time out for myself to look after my skin, using MayBeauty facemasks you physically see for yourself what the mask has done, not only do you feel it in your face/skin you actually see it in the mask once you have taken it off your face.

How would you like to try the mask for yourself?

If this is a product you think you would like to try MayBeauty have very kindly given a WHOOPING 30% discount for my readers to use. To take advantage of this very kind discount you would need to use the code neverrestsfacemask30 in the discount box at the end of your shopping.

If you do purchase the mask please do come back and let me know your thoughts.

Disclaimer: we was sent five facemasks from MayBeauty for the purpose of this review, all thoughts and opinions are 100% our own.

10 Happy Things

10 happy things

10 Happy Things

I was recently sat thinking of a few things that we have going on at the moment, they are all happy things so I thought I’d put them into a post and share them with you. Here are 10 happy things we have going on at the moment.

1) Ian is a finalist at our Slimming World group, he is one of the two men in the final where one of which will be chosen to be man of the year. I am so proud of him, he has currently lost an amazing 1 stone 12lb and is still going. We are both currently concentrating on slimming down this year.

2) Danny has now happily moved into his own flat and is settling in nicely. He is happily looking to his future.

3) Our holiday is getting closer. We are off to a beautiful tranquil woodland holiday park where we have a beautiful log cabin. There is so much on offer to do there, we are now counting the days.

4) We are getting closer to buying our home.

5) We are soon to be celebrating our crystal wedding anniversary.

6) Plans are now being made for my massage business, I am currently in discussions.

7) Bradley has attended a casting, he is now awaiting to see if he was successful or not.

8) Lee is working on a list of items he needs to get/pack, he’s off on a field trip with school.

9) Our home gym is now in place and we are getting a nice collection now of equipment.

10) Ian has had a lovely promotion at work, he is now a deputy team leader.

As you can see from my list above there is so much to smile about. We are currently thinking of a fun and exciting way to celebrate our crystal anniversary, I fancy doing something exciting/daring, do you have any suggestions?

May madness

May Madness

May Madness

May for us has been a little up in the air, it involves a hospital stay, exams, a casting, a viewing of a new home, a promotion and more. Here is our May madness!

May for us got off to a really early start, the month started off with a 5am train into London where I was due to have an operation, this was then followed by a hospital stay until I was strong enough to return home.

Lee had a busy few days, he had exams at school and this caused Lee a great deal of worry and stress. He feels like he done well so fingers crossed. We always say to the boys as long as they try their best that is all that counts.

I was feeling a little down following my operation so a girls night in was called for. We had wine, chinese, chocolate, music, and a little pamper, there was lots of laughter, just what was needed.

The sun was shining one Sunday afternoon so we enjoyed a lovely afternoon around a lovely park. We took a little drive out and found this amazing park, we plan to go back with our bikes and have a cycle round but need to invest in a bike rack for the car.

Ian received some fantastic news at work, he has been promoted to a deputy team leader.

Bradley joined the school rounders club which he has been thoroughly enjoying.

We have been busy converting our conservatory into a games room/gym, we are slowly adding to this to build a nice busy room. We love our conservatory this is where we spend most of our time.

Bradley got called in for a casting day in regards to his modelling, channel four was also there filming so we may also be on TV. I think I was more nervous than he was. I learned a big lesson from that day, that’s lesson was to never wear heels when Brad goes for casting as there is a lot of standing around……….OUCH!

Ian and the boys had a lovely day fishing whilst I was at work during the school half-term week, Bradley was very lucky and caught quite a few fish. The kid’s are having a few lessons before our holiday as we are soon going on a fishing holiday, staying in a lovely log cabin in a tranquil woodland holiday park.

Ian is currently one of the two finalist at slimming world for man of the year, we find out at our next weigh-in who the winner is.

I have been venturing out further on my bike, I have been using my bike more lately to get to and from work, I completed a 7 mile ride the other evening after a day at work, I cycled to my last client……..I certainly slept well that night!

Danny went to view a flat, he liked it and has been busy packing and preparing to move. Luckily it is not too far away.

How was your month?

April madness

April madness

April madness

Our April madness started off with some April fools fun, I must say the boy’s really enjoy April fools day and they really keep us on our toes.

I treated myself to a new hair-do, I trialed out having curls put in and I went a lot shorter.

Following on from last month’s DIY disaster we have now managed to replace the TV box, hopefully now Ian will forgive me (fingers crossed).

We had a nice delivery of a new tumble dryer, this was much welcomed, trying to get the washing dry in this horrid weather has been a nightmare.

The kid’s enjoyed a nice fun-filled Easter holiday by this point we had some beautiful weather and the sun was shining.

April madness

Bradley anxiously awaited his grading results to find out if he is a black belt….Yes well done Brad we are very proud of you!

April madness

I finally got my laptop back after a 3 week wait. 3 weeks without my laptop was a nightmare. I had to share Lee’s laptop with him, his laptop has a cut off timer on it and it powers off at 10pm so I had to get my work done rather quickly after he had finished his school work if there was any time left, I could have over-rid this but I thought I’d best leave it as it was whilst the timer was set correctly.

Some nice April madness was enjoyed with some fun family days out, a boat trip being one of them.

April madness

Plans for BritMums started to take place, now just need to decide what to wear…….yikes it is getting close now!

I started my reflexology treatment again as I have been in a little discomfort again….Ouch!

Ian enjoyed a much deserved lads day/evening out in London with work mates, Ian said “it’s a guided walk” but this guided walk entails visiting the pubs along the way.

I had my pre-assessment at the hospital, unfortunately an operation was needed due to suffering for many years of Endometriosis. Suffering with this disease is horrible, it is painful and has effected my life a great deal. In the past it resulted in me having to have a hysterectomy at the age of 27.  I have now learned to live with it and not let it beat me.

April madness
OUCH! I hate needles.

I had another nice delivery this month, Ian had treated me to a nice new Egyptian cotton toweling robe to take with me into hospital, I love it.

We finally started to find our gardens and I must say that they was in need of rescuing.

April madness

We won the raffle at Slimming world not just once this month but twice, one prize being some scales and healthy treats, the other being a pressure cooker.

April madness

We finished off our month with a nice new blog design that is more personalised to us and our blog, what do you think?

April madness

So how has your month been?

Our games room

Our games room

Our games room

We have had a very busy weekend as we have been busy discussing/planning our games room, mum and dad have said we can turn our conservatory into a games room, how cool is that. Our games room will be somewhere we can hang out with our mates if we want to.

Me and Lee have both been told that we can pick five items each that we would like to have in our games room.

Here is a list of our top ten chosen items.

The five things that I have asked for are.

1) Art equipment

2) Punch bag

3) Bean bag chairs

4) DVD player and up to date movies

5) Fun group games to play

Lee list of five things that he has asked for are.

6) Multi games table

7) Mini fridge

8) Sports TV

9) Some new computer games

10) Anything fun and cool

We would like our games room to look cool and be a fun place to hang out. We have found some pictures to help us visualise some of our favourite items and what we would like to have in the room.

Our games room

What do you think?

It would be great to have these in our room then we can have some extra seating and have plenty of fun stuff to do. Our room will be fun, exciting and most of all it will be our games room that will be a fun cool place to be.

We are now extremely excited and can not wait to get our games room finished so we can start having lots of fun out there with our mates, we have told all our friends about our DIY project and they cant wait to see it when it is finished.

We hope to get started on creating our awesome games room as soon as possible.

A teen friendly home

A teen friendly home

A teen friendly home

We have recently been looking into our home layout and questioning ourselves as to whether it is a fun place for teens to “hang out” as the boy’s call it. When our kids was little they always had friends in to play but now they are getting older all that seems to have stopped. We are now going to do our best to make our home a teen friendly home, a welcoming home to the boys friends, also a fun place for the boys to want to hang out and be with their friends.

We are fully aware that the boy’s are probably not wanting to spend time with their friends at home and would much rather be out having fun but we would like to make our home a fun place for them to hang out if they wish.

We are also aware that the boy’s are not going to want us parents hanging around whilst they are with their mates, how un-cool will that be, well so I am told anyway!

So after having a good long think on doing this fairly we have a plan in place, we are going to turn our conservatory into a teens room, it already has a TV out there and a sofa, as well as a games console and stereo, so we are half way there anyway. The conservatory is due to be decorated very soon so we plan to get the teens involved in the decorating and refurnishing the room to create it into their own space.

with creating a teen friendly home we have told the boys that this would come with rules and responsibility that would work to make everybody happy.

Top three rules are:

Noise levels, respect our neighbours and keep noise levels at a respectable level.

Agree times friends are allowed in and must leave by.

Respect our home.

Once the rules had been agreed to the boys got busy planning their games room, they have been putting a list together on things they would  like to have out there. They have been thinking about all their interests and hobbies, Lee loves anything football related, he is a BIG spurs fan, he also loves playing a games consoles and sitting on his laptop. Bradley loves his art he will often be found with his art book that he uses for his drawings, he also loves reading, board games and both lee and brad have a love of music.

So we now need to create a room that will cater for all, both boys hobbies friends. We plan to put a rota together that is agreed by both boys to save any arguments.

The boys are very excited about creating this room and can’t wait to get started.

Do you have any ideas on what would be a fun item to add in the boy’s games room?

Easter holidays

April madness

Easter holidays

Oh no! The Easter holidays are over and that means “back to school we go” boo!

We had an awesome time off school and had some great fun whilst we was off, even the sun was shining and we had a lovely sunny school holiday.

We had a sleepover at our friends house.

We went swimming.

Had an awesome time driving a boat, we was even better drivers than mum as we managed to stay in a straight line.

Lee went to Thorpe park with his mates.

We had loads of outdoor fun and made the most of the sun.

We saw Mall cop 2 At the cinema.

And guess what? I got my black belt.

Easter holidays

I love the school holidays as we can stay out longer, stay up later and best of all we can stay in bed longer, I love my sleep.

Oh yeah, I got a horrible sunburn, I forgot to put my sun lotion on and I got burnt. OUCH, I will not forget that again!

So now we are back to setting that noisy alarm that does like to wake us up at silly o clock in the morning. We will also be back to doing boring homework as well, but we are looking forward to seeing our school mates again, that will be cool and we really enjoy PE and after school activities so I guess it isn’t all bad.

So for now it is goodbye school holidays we will see you again soon! our school shoes are now polished, our homework is up to date and our packed lunch is at the ready.

More fun to be had very soon.

Kids in the driving seat

Well it has been the Easter holidays after all so that meant one thing, time to have some family fun and put the kids in the driving seat for a change.

I was searching the internet as you do looking up some family fun that would hold a teenage boys attention for more than five minutes, I came across our local boat hire. We have hired a day boat from them a few years back and I remembered that the boys absolutely loved it so I thought this would make for a fun afternoon.

kid's in the driving seat

I picked out what boat I would like to hire, I didn’t tell the boys about my plans as they may be teenagers but they still love a surprise, I wanted to keep an eye on the weather as a nice dry day would be perfect for going out on a boat. I thought it would be nice for us all to get outdoors for a while and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.

I must say put the kids in the driving seat and just watch the smiles grow, we had an amazing time, the weather was beautiful and the kids loved every minute of it.

Kid's in the driving seat

Kid's in the driving seat

when we arrived at the boats the boys got so excited and couldn’t wait to get in the boat and get in the driving seat. The boys found it highly funny watching me trying to get the boat going in a straight line, let’s just say “me and boats don’t go”.

The kids in the driving seat was much safer I think than me, they was brilliant and it was so lovely to sit back relax and watch the brotherly love take force, they was helping and guiding each other and even complimenting each other’s driving/steering.

Kid's in the driving seat

Kid's in the driving seat

There was only 5 seats in our boat so Ian was walking along side us taking the pictures.

Once we had finished on the boat we sat and enjoyed a lovely picnic together then the boy’s enjoyed some fun in the park.

Can you think of anything that may grab my boy’s attention?

From White Belt To Black

From white belt to black

Hello everyone, it’s me again (Bradley) sorry I been a little quiet recently but I have a good reason for that. I have been rather busy practicing/training for my black belt. I had my grading for my black belt on the 29th March and I needed to get as much practice in as possible.

Guess what, it only went and paid off, YIKES! I am now a black belt.

I have been going to Tia Sung Kung Fu Kickboxing now since I was 7 years old, this is a picture of me on my first day.

Wow look how tiny I look.

Here is a picture of me as a black belt after many years of training hard to get it.

I am feeling rather proud of myself.

I really enjoy going to Tia Sung Kung Fu Kickboxing class, it helps to keep me fit and I have made so many friends. I have entered championships where I have come third and got a bronze medal, this was great fun but extremely tiring, I certainly slept well that night that’s for sure.

I meet up sometimes with my friends from kickboxing class and we train together and help each other it is great fun. I have great support from my family they all cheer me on, some family members come along and support me on grading days if they are not busy.

Wow it feels amazing being a black belt, my best friend from Kickboxing class also got his black belt which is great as we have supported each other all the way through and we can now continue to do so.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and wished me luck, I wouldn’t have been able to get this far without you all, it means so much to know you are there cheering me on.

Here is to a new chapter in my life.

 Thank you

A letter to my past self

A letter to my past self

A letter to my past self

Dear my past self

I am writing a letter to my past self to say we have said and done so many things that we are not proud of, we have been through so much, good times and bad. We’ve been through happy times and sad times but we have got through them and we survived!

We had to grow up faster than planned and life through us some horrible curve balls but hey that’s life I guess. Our emotions was played with horribly as a child and no kid should have to deal with them of that age. Only we could understand these feelings but that has made us grow into the stronger person we are today.

Along our journey to where we are now we have made bad mistakes and bad decisions but we have learnt from them. We have learned, we have grown but most of all we have changed. All of these changes have come from our past, it is our past that has helped us become who we are today. Instead of trying to block our past out we should remember it and let it help us grow, yes horrible things have happened in the past that we so desperately want to forget and find extremely hard to deal with and accept but we survived.

All I can say now is we are extremely happy, we have the most amazing husband in the world who loves us dearly and three amazing boys all of which we love so much.

Now is the time to move on from our past emotions so that we can live a happy future.

So what have we learnt from our past.

To appreciate those in our life who want to be in it.

To try not to force relationships that are just not there.

To be more stronger minded.

To not be used all the time.

To not take any nonsense.

When to just walk away.

When heart-strings are being pulled.

When we are being used.

How to put our little family first.

To stop trying to change things.

We now know we are worth so much more.

Most of all we have learnt how to say no, enough is enough.

We have such a happy future to look forward to and we are now taking control of our life. Plans are now being made to buy a house, wow who would have thought it a! We have been so unhappy with our weight but we are now well on our way to target, a birthday gift to ourself 5 st lighter. Hopefully our arm will recover following our car accident and our plans can continue with setting up our message business. Our kid’s make us even more prouder every single day and they put a smile on our face every day guaranteed.

So with all this to look forward to and more now is the time to move on, hold our head high and be proud of who we have become.

 Words from the heart

  With love

Our highlights of March

Our highlights of March

Our highlights of March

Wow where did March go! well it has gone now anyway and we have some brilliant highlights for you. Our highlights of March entail’s a fab weight-loss update, DIY disasters and much more! (Note to myself, label the plugs).

Our month started with myself trying my best at DIY (putting a TV cabinet together) and yes you got it……disaster happened. What on earth was I thinking, oh well I tried my best. The end result was a nightmare, I blew up our TV box and wiped out the internet for the night……Let me explain how, I plugged the wrong power leads into each other I got the TV box and internet cable muddled up, easy mistake right or is this just something I’d do? end result is I am now banned from ANY DIY!

We had a horrid week this month where everything decided to break on us, our tumble dryer stopped working, my steam mop broke and my laptop has had to go to the menders, it has been in there for two and a half weeks now so hopefully I will get it back very soon, fingers crossed it can be fixed. Until my laptop is fixed or replaced I am sharing Lee’s laptop. They say things happen in three’s.

Our highlights of MarchWe enjoyed a fab trip to the Warner Bros in Watford to visit where Harry Potter was filmed, we had a lovely drinks reception and then went on tour, review to follow.

We have been busy meal planning to make life easier on ourselves, we also treated ourselves to a soup maker this is so quick and easy to use we love it!

Buddy enjoyed a pamper session with our groomer, he had a much-needed bath and hair cut, he is now looking and smelling much better.

I enjoyed a lovely mothers day treat, I was treated to breakfast in bed followed by a lovely day of rest. We had a lovely movie day with lots of naughty treats. A nice day of quality time as a family was enjoyed by all, that was the best gift of all.

Our highlights of March

Bradley had grading at his boxing class, he was going for his black belt, we are now sitting patiently waiting for the results which he should have in a few weeks. Good luck Brad you done excellent and have trained really hard to get this far, keep up the hard work!

Our highlights of March

I even managed to sneak in a girls night out, for me it was all a last-minute rush as I was meant to have been working that night and there was a change of plan at last minute but it was a fantastic night, there was champagne, wine, 3 course meal a drag queen and naked butlers…yes you read that right, naked butlers (Sorry no pics), then a disco. What was not to enjoy about all of that! (this was a ladies night at our local country club).

I was rather shocked at slimming world group last week, I only went and got my two and a half stone award, I am now half way to target, I have set myself a challenge to loose 5 stone by August. I started my weigh-loss journey back in October last year. I am amazed at how well I am doing as I never had thought in a million years I would have got this far let alone this quickly, one thing is for sure the weight is definitely staying off.

Our highlights of March

Have you had a good month?

10 things I NEED to do

10 things I NEED to do

10 things I NEED to do

I don’t know about you but unless I write things down I forget to do them. I was recently reading through other blogs, this is something I enjoy doing when I have a bit of spare time and a nice cup of tea, when reading I came across A Cornish Mum Blog and her great link up.

So now I am going to make myself a to-do-list of 10 things I NEED to do, I have been meaning to do these for ages now and I really do need to get these done.

1) Pack a hospital bag, I am due to go in hospital and I just know if I don’t start packing soon or at least make a list I will forget something.

2) Find the cupboard under my stairs, there is one there somewhere amongst the clutter.

3) Sort out my old clothes, now I am 2 & 1/2 stone lighter I am in desperate need of new ones

4) Buy a new bedroom carpet, our carpet is so old now it is not at its best.

5) File our letters, I keep meaning to do this but now all I have done is accumulate a to-do pile in our bedroom which is now starting to get rather high.

6) Start making our Brit mums plans, this will be our first year attending and we are rather nervous and excited all at the same time.

7) Hunt for a new tumble dryer as ours decided to stop working. I hardly use it but the boys do if their PE kit or sports kit is not quite dry.

8) Hunt for a romantic getaway for August as it will be mine and Ian’s crystal wedding anniversary this year and we would like a nice quiet relaxing break for 1-2 nights. Ian surprised me with a nice break to Venice for my 30th birthday a few years back so I would like to do something similar for our anniversary this year.

9) Plan some fun family day-trips, with the better weather on the way we’d best get planning on where we want to visit this summer.

10) Learn to organise myself a bit better, I am so unorganised lately it is beginning to show now, I am normally pretty good with planning ahead but of late it just doesn’t seem to be happening.
