Picnic party at Forty Hall
Today we packed up a picnic and our sun lotion and headed off to join the friends of forty hall for a picnic party at Forty Hall and had our lunch in style with the sun shining brightly.
There was a fine variety of music performed by local artists, a Pimms tent and summer refreshments, lots of crafts and activities to keep the kids entertained, such as face painting, headdress-making, lots of fun and laughter to be had.
We sat back relaxed and had a great afternoon before the madness starts again next week with the kids returning back to school after half term, this has been a great day and a great way to end the half term with the sun shining and live music by local talent.
There was a punch and Judy show, this brought back childhood memory’s and even today I still find myself laughing.
There was a raffle where you could win a beautiful hamper, you could go and buy a lovely ice cream, they had a nice bread stall where you can buy freshly baked bread, a plant stall if you fancied treating yourself to a nice plant and there was lots of other lovely stalls.
The boys took their football with them and had a kick about, they was running about and had a great time, Bradley had worn himself out, but he was soon back to his normal self and back to running around after a short rest.
There was people singing and dancing, sunbathing, playing ball games, blowing bubbles, today has been an extremely fun but relaxing day and great fun was had by all.
