Fun Travel And Adventures

We are a fun, thrill-seeking family from North London who are always seeking outdoor family fun and activities. We will often be found with our car loaded up ready for a fun family trip.

London Day Trips

Being Londoners we enjoy nothing more than spending time in our own city. We have enjoyed many of trips. Some of those being a trip to London Zoo and a fun afternoon with Thames Rockets. We have even conquered The Summit. Ahoy there! we have even spent the day aboard the Cutty Sark and stepped back in time to become Captain Woodgets apprentice.

Fun In The Sun

We really enjoy loading the car up and heading off on a trouble-free road trip for a family day at the seaside. One seaside town we do visit rather often is Claton-On-Sea as we have family who live there.

We love to make lots of summer time memories. With being a thrill-seeking family we enjoy family trips to theme parks like Chessington. We do love action packed days out and loved our visit to Go Ape. The boys really enjoyed tackling tricky obstacles and the thrill of the zip-lines.

On our day trips out we always dress sensible for the weather conditions and try our best to be prepared.

 Ways To Grab The Kids Attention

With having boys it often proves difficult to grab their attention. We have always been an active family and we are always off out doing something or other with the boys anything from a bike ride on a winter’s day to an afternoon boating trip in a bid to have some screen-free time. Teens can most certainly be a tough audience to entertain.

A Few Way’s To Entertain Teenagers

We put a list together of ways in which you could get your teen to have some screen-free time and also grab their attention for a while.

• Enjoy a family day at a Theme Park.
• Go off on a Tree Top Adventure.
• Enjoy a day of all things bizzare and mysterious.
• Learn a new skill.
• Creat your own carnival games.
• Get creative with StikBots.

Couples travel

Myself and Ian have had some lovely weekends away together and plan to have many more. We enjoyed a romantic break at the stunning Ox Pasture Hall Hotel. This country house hotel is oozing rustic charm and is somewhere we would love to visit again.

We have also enjoyed a lovely weekend in Leeds. Staying very comfortably in the Travelodge Leed’s Central. The Travelodge is very well situated and convenient to all amenities.

Us girls can’t help how much we pack when going on holiday. We need our girls holiday essentials when going away. And yes I do have to sit on my case!

Did you know there is an art to budget travelling? – especially if travelling with kid’s, this is where travel hacks come in very handy.

Plans for a first time visit to Prague for a long romantic weekend visit.

Experiences

Being Coronation Street fans we went on a tour of the set and had an amazing experience. We all had a family day out and loved walking the cobbles of Coronation Street. Brilliant experience!

Myself and Ian enjoyed a lovely long weekend in Yorkshire. Of course with myself being an Emmerdale fan, we couldn’t go to Yorkshire without going on the Emmerdale tour. We enjoyed a lovely cold drink outside the Woolpack before heading back to our hotel.
